This transformer fan speed controller controls single-phase motors. The (combined) maximum current is 1 A. The required AC fan speed can be selected via the rotary switch. This 5-step rotary switch also has an OFF position. The motor speed is regulated in 5 steps by varying the motor voltage. The output voltage with perfect sinusoidal shape, guarantees quiet motor operation. The enclosure offers an IP54 protection against ingress of dirt, dust and moisture. It can be wall mounted in indoor environments.

5-step speed controller for AC fans

This is a controller for single-phase motors. Via the built-in switch, you can select one of the 5 speeds . Autotransformer technology is used to reduce the motor voltage and the fan speed in 5 steps. This technology is very reliable and robust. It generates a motor voltage with perfect sinusoidal shape. This results in exceptionally quiet motor operation and extended service life. A special impregnated coating reduces the electrical noise from the autotransformers.
