A high-quality 3-in-1 HEPA filter (consisting of HEPA, carbon and prefilter) filters up to 99.97 percent of all particles with a size down to 0.3 µm from the room air – the size of the most common airborne pollutants such as viruses and bacteria. As soon as the air flows through the filter, the polluted room air is turned into clean, HEPA-filtered air free of pathogenic pollutants. All this is done fully automatically thanks to state-of-the-art dust and air quality sensors that continuously measure the air quality and detect changes – in order to then counteract them with an intelligently controlled air cleaning performance. The air purification process is supplemented by ionisation of the coarse particles floating around (animal hair, pollen and dust), causing them to sink to the floor to be sucked in by the air flow of the AirgoClean® 11 E and filtered out in the prefilter. The three-stage adjustable fan with a maximum air circulation rate of 120 m³/h allows for a noticeable improvement of the air quality in rooms sized up to 15 m² or 38 m³.

Fast 360° air purification

The air is sucked in from all sides by the cylindrically shaped device, cleaned in the highly efficient 360° HEPA filter and evenly emitted back into the room via the air outlet with fixed blades.

Automatic mode with intelligently controlled air purification

The air purification capacity cannot only be controlled manually. In addition, the AirgoClean® 11 E is equipped with a smart air quality sensor to react to changes in the room air quality in real time. The highly sensitive air quality sensor continuously measures the air pollution through fine dust and pollen and detects even the smallest changes instantaneously – in order to immediately react by adapting the air purification process. The air flow rate and filter performance of the device are regulated fully automatically to the necessary level to remove particles from the room air within a very short time.

Timer with automatic switch-off function

The easily programmable timer makes it possible to set a fixed operating time. The number of hours until automatic switch-off can be set to 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours. Just as your work-life balance requires, and unnecessary operating times can also be avoided.

Quiet operation

HEPA filter (99.97 %)

Viruses, bacteria, pollen, allergens, fine dust particles and mould spores sized down to 0.3 micrometres are eliminated in the HEPA filter. Due to the high filtration efficiency of 99.97 %, filters of this filter class are used e.g. in hygiene-sensitive laboratories and in the food production industry. These filters provide optimum conditions to turn your own four walls into an oasis of well-being with clean, fresh and filtered room air.

Carbon filter

Ideal for pet owners. The tried and tested HEPA filter with integrated carbon filter effectively neutralises not only pollutants but also animal odours such as dog odour (inherent odour of man’s best friend), dog or cat urine from the ambient air.

DACRON® prefilter

DACRON® is a designation for synthetically manufactured continuous polyester filaments, which are ideally suited as a prefilter in air purification due to their particularly allergy-neutral characteristics. The prefilters made of these synthetic fibres are particularly tear-resistant, durable and water-repellent. The synthetic fibre filter alone is able to filter odours of slight to medium intensity, coarse house dust and animal hair from the room air.

Quick and simple filter change

The AirgoClean® 11 E is just as easy to operate as it is to change the pre-mounted filters, which can be done in no time. In one simple step, the device cover can be removed without using tools. This way, carbon and HEPA filters can be visually inspected and replaced if necessary.

Fine dust – an invisible danger for the lung, heart and vessels, more dangerous and more widespread than previously assumed

Fine dust is on everyone’s lips and that in the truest sense of the word. The German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina demands additional efforts from environmental and health policy makers to further reduce the air pollution with particulate matter. They state that the sources of fine dust are more diverse and the resulting damage to health is more serious than previously assumed.

Fine dust favours the development of serious diseases

Fine dust particles, also known as particulate matter, are respirable particles with a diameter of less than 2.5 µm. The smaller these fine particles are, the deeper they can penetrate the body and organ systems. Particulate matter can cause inflammation in the bronchi and lungs, and slow down children’s lung growth. According to the Leopoldina, other consequences of particulate matter include heart attacks, strokes and accelerated arteriosclerosis. Inflammatory processes have also been observed in the brain and have been linked to a faster development of dementia in older people as well as delayed intelligence development in children. In addition to inflammatory reactions, fine dust can also cause damage to the cardiovascular system in other ways.

Particulate matter is responsible for 15 percent of global corona deaths

Researchers have long suspected that the pollution with particulate matter has an influence on the course of disease in COVID-19 patients, since particulate matter weakens the immune system and attacks the lung tissue. This is now confirmed by new research results from the renowned University of Oxford, published in the medical journal “Cardiovascular Research”. The results show that there is a correlation between high pollution with particulate matter and an increased risk of dying from COVID-19. The scientists have calculated that on average 15 percent of global corona deaths are due to victims having inhaled polluted air over a long period of time. The research results suggest that particulate matter pollution is an important factor increasing the mortality risk from COVID-19.

AirgoClean® 11 E – special equipment features

1. Despite its compact dimensions, the 3 fan stages and a purification volume of up to 120 m³/h of the AirgoClean® 11 E purify rooms up to 15 m². The device cleans the surrounding air particularly thoroughly and surprisingly quiet (43 dB) from pollutants, pathogens and bad smells.
